Poem by Fatima Cocom

TREES

The tree is like an octopus
That waves its arms slowly.
And the root is like the feet
dancing merrily with the wind.
And when a snake rolls in the middle
of the tree is like the mouth is
shouting I love the breeze.
Trees quarrel with the wind.
And the trees gossip with the grass.
